Our Story
Established in 1983 as part of the "Athens Pizza House" local chain, this restaurant has been serving freshly cooked-to-order delicious foods for over 30 years.
Beginning in 2004, we changed our name to "Atlanta Pizza and Gyro" and began to establish our own branded name and reputation in the community while striving to continue and maintain the look, feel and tastes of this beloved place that so many locals and guests have come to enjoy over the years.
We are a family-owned and operated establishment. We have lived in the Conyers area since 1997. We work and shop here and our kids went to public schools here.
We are blessed and honored to have the continued privilege of serving our neighbors, guests and regular customers every day for over 20+ years.

Casual Affordable Dining and Unique Atmosphere
Our restaurant is a laid back, relaxed atmosphere that hasn't been updated or changed much since opening in the early 1980s. There are few places you can still go to eat a meal with friends and family where there isn't loud music playing. We strive to be a family-friendly environment, welcoming small to large groups with our flexible seating and laid back atmosphere.

From our iconic hometown beverage, Coca Cola, to our love of local teams (Go Braves, Falcons, Hawks, and Atlanta United!), our participation and support of local community events, schools, and our locally-focused Craft Beer selections, we strive to celebrate our town - Atlanta, GA - and maintain ourselves as a proud member of the metro area and Rockdale County, Georgia.
